Description
- The SAT3 model responds to the need to manage solid impurities present in process fluids by exploiting the construction typology of the SAT model with the insertion of two rings (called scrapers) inside and outside the seats.
- The scraper rings have the task of:
- clean the surface of the sphere during the maneuver
- protect the seats from the abrasive action of the solid parts contained in the fluid
- avoid these solid parts becoming wedged between the seat and the ball which would cause the valve to block.
- reduce the amount of dirt that can deposit in the valve body cavity.
